Matching a Central Coast Roof
A matched tile has to sit right before it looks right. Profiles that look alike can differ in length, cover width and interlock, and a tile that is a few millimetres out will not seat in the course. That is why we identify the profile first and only then look at colour.
Coastal exposure is the other factor. Salt and sea air change how a tile weathers, so a replacement that reads correctly on a sheltered plane can look obviously new on a face that has taken years of weather. Where an exact match is hard to find, a common fix is to move matching tiles from a less visible part of the roof, such as the back or side, to the front, then fill the less visible area with the closest recycled match.
There is no minimum order, so if the repair needs one tile you can buy one tile. Across the whole yard, the spread from the cheapest second hand tile to the dearest is only about $1.50. And if a tile is close but the colour is out, all tiles can be painted, concrete or terracotta, provided the correct undercoat is used.

Ordering From the Central Coast
You do not need to drive down to match a tile, because we work off photographs. Take a clear photo of the face of the tile, then the underside, which usually carries a manufacturer stamp, profile name or production code, and the side interlock. Measure the exposed width and height and send it all through.
